Ford Reduces Cost of Electric Mustang Mach-E to Compete With Tesla

If you’ve been considering buying an electric car but don’t want to pay the outrageous prices that Tesla is charging for its electric vehicles, you’re in luck. Ford has just announced that it is reducing the price of its upcoming electric Mustang Mach-E by as much as $3,000. That means that you can now afford to buy this high-performance vehicle without spending nearly as much as you would on a car from Tesla.

Ford is ramping up production in Mexico

Ford Motor Company is ramping up production of its electric Mustang Mach-E at its Cuautitlan Stamping and Assembly Plant in Mexico. As a result, the company plans to increase the production capacity of the car from 70,000 to over 200,000 units per year. The company is also aiming to reach a total EV production volume of more than two million by the end of 2026.

The company originally aimed to sell 50,000 units of the car in its first year of production. However, it now expects to sell 200,000 or more units a year by the time the car hits the market.

Mach-E has been selling well in the US. According to the Ford Authority, the average Mustang EV spends less than 12 days on a dealer lot. Its battery range is expected to be around 210 to 305 miles.

The Mexican plant initially started with just one shift. Since then, Ford has upgraded the plant to accommodate more production. In addition, it has added new lines of battery power and a second assembly line.

Mach-Es will be available in 37 countries. Ford aims to expand production to as many markets as possible. Currently, the company is targeting Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand and Argentina.

It’s reducing prices by as much as $3,000

Ford has confirmed that it has slashed prices for its electric Mustang Mach-E. The SUV will be available in North America starting in early next year.

According to a document obtained by the Mach-E Forum, Ford has cut pricing by up to $3,000. Prices have also been reduced by $1,000 or more for other trims. There are two battery pack sizes for the 2023 model.

The Standard Range battery pack offers 247 miles of range. An Extended Range option with all-wheel drive adds three more miles of range. In addition to the range, the Extended Range model includes a 10-speaker stereo and power liftgate.

The Premium trim gets a price reduction of $3,000. The California Route 1 trim, meanwhile, is a $2,000 discount.

The Mustang Mach-E is a hybrid-electric vehicle that has one rear motor. It has a maximum driving range of 312 miles on a single charge.

Ford has not said whether the price reduction is due to back orders or cost savings. However, it has vowed to remain competitive in the electric vehicle market.

Ford took preorder reservations for the Mach-E since last spring. As of today, the First Edition version has sold out. Customers with existing reservations have until mid-October to make changes.

It’s not taking its models off dealership lots to target online buyers

It’s no secret that Ford is spending billions of dollars on electric cars, but the company isn’t taking its electric Mustang Mach-E models off dealer lots in the name of e-commerce. In fact, the company is building the most technologically advanced car the company has ever manufactured.

The company is also investing in its network, which includes specialized services like fleet management. This is the same company that’s been America’s best-selling truck for 45 years, and it’s a company that is second only to Apple in total revenue among American consumer products.

The Ford F-150 Lightning is the only electric vehicle that is Built Ford Tough. It starts at less than $40k before tax credits, and it accelerates from zero to 60 in under four seconds. Similarly, it has a 10-kilowatt smart power plant on wheels that can be upgraded with software over time.

Aside from being the cheapest new car on the block, it’s a surprisingly efficient way to get from point A to point B. For commercial customers, it offers a one-stop shop for fleet operations. Meanwhile, its BlueCruise technology uses prequalified sections of divided highways to create a hands-free driving experience.

It’s not a bad idea to order a shiny new Mustang from the best dealer in Des Moines.
