YouTube Music is Rolling Out a Custom Radio Playlist Feature Soon

It looks as though YouTube Music is preparing to roll out a new custom radio playlist feature. You’ll be able to create a playlist that plays a specific genre of music or a specific artist and play it all from one place. That’s a great way to find new tunes, but YouTube’s not the only app getting ready to offer this service.

YouTube Music is testing ‘Add to Queue’ feature on Android and iOS devices

YouTube is testing a new feature for its Android and iOS apps that will allow users to create and save a custom queue to watch videos. This will replace the current Save to Playlist and Save to Watch Later features.

To use this new feature, you’ll need a YouTube Premium account. Once you sign up for the subscription, you’ll be able to access the Add to Queue function on your mobile device.

This new feature will enable YouTube Premium subscribers to view their videos in a queue and save them to a playlist. The queue will also enable users to shuffle and repeat playback. You can remove clips from your queue with a swipe to the left.

While this new feature is currently only available on the Android version, it may be rolled out to iOS devices in the near future. Google’s video site is known for its lengthy test periods, and it’s likely that this feature will be released to all users in the future.

YouTube Music is testing ‘Smart downloads’ feature

Google has updated the YouTube app to support a new experimental feature. It’s called Smart Downloads. This feature allows you to download songs to your device without using any data. It’s available to YouTube Premium subscribers.

The YouTube Smart Downloads feature is designed to ensure that you can listen to your favorite songs offline. This is especially helpful if you’re limited to your data plan or don’t have an internet connection.

The “smart” part of the feature is that the music downloads automatically. You can set a limit to how many songs you want to download.

The YouTube Smart Downloads feature is available on the YouTube Android app and Wear OS app. It’s currently in testing and will be ending on February 14. The good news is that it will likely be available to the wider public soon.

YouTube Music offers four types of personalized playlists

YouTube Music is a new music streaming platform launched by YouTube last year in select countries. It provides users with a personalized music recommendation and access to a wide variety of music and videos. It also features a search function, an ad-free listening experience, and a library of over 70 million songs. It is available in 95 countries.

It is free to sign up, but it will cost you around $10 per month to enjoy its Premium tier. The Premium tier includes ad-free video and music content, plus original video and music playlists. It’s a great option for those who want to discover new music.

The app’s search function lets you locate songs based on lyrics and vague identifiers. You can also create playlists and customize the queue based on your mood. In addition, you can add your favorite artists to your favorites list and switch between audio and video versions of songs. You can also find and add songs to playlists that are curated by others.

Clearing watch, location, and search history from YouTube Music

If you’re looking for the best way to clear watch, location, and search history from YouTube Music, the answer is pretty simple. You don’t have to remove the whole thing, but it does require some manual work.

First, go to your settings. The app icon will usually be located on your home screen. Tap it, and you’ll be taken to a screen with a number of options. You’ll see a “Privacy & location” section at the bottom. There you’ll find a toggle to pause and clear your YouTube watch history.

In the same area you’ll also find an option to manage your YouTube search history. This is where you can take a look at all of the most recent searches. Depending on your settings, you may be able to pause or delete each individual search. However, if you choose to pause or clear all search history at once, it could take some time to sync.

Apple Music, Qobuz, offer a high-res listening experience

If you love listening to music on a smart speaker, Apple Music and Qobuz are two services that provide great audio quality. With a subscription to either service, you can enjoy high-res streaming through a variety of devices, including Sonos soundbars and wireless home speakers.

Unlike Spotify and Tidal, Apple Music doesn’t have any built-in social sharing features. However, its recommendations are based on what you’re listening to and how you’re using your device. Its curated playlists include the Friends Mix, the New Music Mix, and the Favorites Mix.

Qobuz has a lot of competition from other music services, but it has its own unique appeal. With its specialized genres and hi-res download store, it’s designed to appeal to music aficionados. Plus, the prices are lower than those of rivals like Spotify and Tidal.
