YouTube Music is Rolling Out a Custom Radio Playlist Feature Soon
It looks as though YouTube Music is preparing to roll out a new custom radio playlist feature. You’ll be able to create a playlist that plays a specific genre of music or a specific artist and play it all from one place. That’s a great way to find new tunes, but YouTube’s not the only app getting ready to offer this service.
YouTube Music is testing ‘Add to Queue’ feature on Android and iOS devices
YouTube is testing a new feature for its Android and iOS apps that will allow users to create and save a custom queue to watch videos. This will replace the current Save to Playlist and Save to Watch Later features.
To use this new feature, you’ll need a YouTube Premium account. Once you sign up for the subscription, you’ll be able to access the Add to Queue function on your mobile device.
This new feature will enable YouTube Premium subscribers to view their videos in a queue and save them to a playlist. The queue will also enable users to shuffle and repeat playback. You can remove clips from your queue with a swipe to the left.
While this new feature is currently only available on the Android version, it may be rolled out to iOS devices in the near future. Google’s video site is known for its lengthy test periods, and it’s likely that this feature will be released to all users in the future.
